Chevy Volt #1 in Market Share in Q4 2012

AutoblogGreen did an article on the Q4 2012 Plug-in sales. And the Volt was number one in market share of the Plug-in segment. Impressive! Here is the list and the graphic:

#1 Chevrolet Volt             7,113
#2 Toyota Prius Plug-in   5,016
#3 Nissan Leaf                4,607
#4 Tesla Model S            2,400

  1. Indeed, Chevy deserves to have the spot! Not only is it the most affordable car that year, but it's also the most reliable car in terms of mobility and efficiency; cheaper to maintain and cheaper replacement parts.

  2. I agree, I currently own a 2012 Chevrolet Volt and I'm thoroughly impressed with how fuel efficient it is. I am able to get about 55 mpg in the city, which is wonderful! I commend the Chevrolet for continuing to mix innovation with social responsibility.
